e-Play Movies & Games was the owner/operator of automated DVD & video game renting kiosks, and a competitor to Redbox. e-Play had a contract with Walmart in 2009 placing kiosks inside select stores.

My first major web project with e-Play was to redesign the site to highlight the new "Online Reservations" feature.

KIOSK INTERFACE

Under my direction we redesigned a new user-friendly interface using fewer words and more symbols, and designating a 'hotspot' area of the screen for rapid advancement.

ANIMATED SHORTS

Below are two of five screensaver shorts that would play on loop on the kiosk while no one was using it. Its purpose was to inform customers about special deals, new releases, and kiosk features, while also exhibiting our brand persona of the lighthearted entertainer. For example, the message of one of the videos is "Save your piggy bank by renting $1 DVDs & video games."
