Junior Year Machine Knitting

A selection of knit swatches made during the fall of 2014. This was my second time taking machine knitting, so my swatches varied in technique, skill and process more greatly than my freshman year knits. Color, shape, form and texture were all considered throughout the making process. 
 
Color relationships and a variety of techniques discovered in the swatch-making process informed and inspired my final machine knit look.
Shaped, hand dyed and needle felted.
