• Amplification, wooden folding fan, 14”x15”x11”
We recognize an object simply as an object itself.
But even the most boring object can be potentially reconstructed in a innovative form by reinterpretation.
Space created by continual combination of a wooden fan is reconstructed from the process of accumulation.
I believe the ability to manipulating the object to reconstruct into something completely different
from its original form, yet keeping its truest nature is one of the most important trait as an artist.
I wanted to amplify the nature of the material, and the spiral shape to true form.
