Wanting to step away from the conventional form and connotations associated with the shape of everyday balloons, POP grew out of a desire to experiment with mylar and create our own inflatables. Traced from custom balloon letter type, the 7-ft. letters were left to float throughout an open studio, encouraging other students to touch, blow, and interact them.
