The bracket stool was designed after the need for a comfortable, high stool, easy to manufacture with a CNC router and as well showcasing the machine capacities in term of furniture making.
The idea is also to be able to produce the stool wherever in the world with standard birch plywood (24mm), a CNC router and very basic woodworking tools, such as files, japanese saw, sanding paper, glue and clamps.
Even if the stool is not produced on site, it is fairly easy to ship it flatpack, and then assemble it wherever wanted.

One the key issues of the design was to try to enhance traditional wood joinery, such as the groove-tongue, with the help and characteristic touch of CNC technology, and his precise, rounded edges. The result is a very light, material saving, esthetic and resistant piece of furniture.
