To Whom it May Concern

The prompt for this piece was "Biomimetic art," looking at nature for inspiration to solve a human problem. I revisited dandelions (previously in "Don't Sneeze") to explore seed dispersion systems, and their potential application as a way to spread information. This project proposes a large, artificial dandelion, able to release its seed heads, each of which carry a package, postcard, letter, or advertisement. This system would be able to disperse information quickly and broadly, without concern for a particular desitation or recipient.
