As a semester long project, our group solved the problems with biking and listening to music with a new ear bud product. Through much prototyping, user research and testing, we ended up with a product that had stereo microphones, which played back in real time. This allows the rider to hear ambient noise while listening to music. We have mocked up a working prototype and a looks like prototype.

 

These ear buds are companies by an app, which allows you to adjust the level of music to ambient noise ratio. This app is fully functional and uses music already downloaded on your phone.
