Inspired by snowgeese and marshes, the series is developed through colors of the days (dawn, dusk and noon) to give different moods to each fabric. Two different screens, one with flock of geese and the other depicting the marsh, are used in these prints. Stenciling and blocking off parts of the screens are applied to achieve different rhythm and effects to the patterns.
Left to right: Dusk, Dawn, Noon
Close up on Dawn.
Stencils are used to fill in the colors of the snowgoose's bodies.
Close up on Noon.
Parts of marsh screen are blocked off and printed multiple times with different colors to give the sense of flickering reflection of water in the days.
Close up on Dusk.
With the geese stencil on the marsh screen, the screen is rotated 90 degrees when printed in order to achieve the horizontal flying movement of the geese.
