As an exploration in sheet metal I wanted to explore sacred geometry of various religions. For this specific exploration I was drawn to Buddhism, where I studied the anatomy of the Buddha's face. From this step, I found various simplified patterns that were created by the Buddhas facial features, from where I developed the module for this exploration. From this point I wanted to play with movement with my modules, so I made custom rivets, and began connecting modules together. In the end, my exploration resulted in a lotus flower like shape. I was satisfied with the movement and various orientations my form could take.
