As an illustrator, I think making my own Christmas cards is one of the best self promotional things I can do. It gives me a chance to create something uniquely me, and push my work.
Last year, I had the idea to do two cards, Krampus or Hipster, and Kringle or Hipster.
Krampus and Kringle were popular, so I wanted to bring them both back. So this year, they are Best Bro's! I did three versions, with different colored backgrounds and colored text.
Also, Lumbersexual is a term being tossed around right now, for city guys that dress like lumberjacks. Who was the orignal Lumbersexual, Santa Claus of course. So that seemed like a timely idea for a card.
