Book Design for Japanese Poetry (Haiku)
An academy project about a book of japanese poetry, Haiku.
Book's design is based on the basic characteristics of haiku; removal, frugality and calm. For the illustration are used only blacks, greys and some red details an a white piece of paper, according to the flag of Japan. The page numbers are written with latin numbers but also with numbers in Katzi method.
The format of the book is 42cm*14.85cm and this choise made in order to refer to the japanese screens.
