This sketch was made with a continuous line. The shading was done by dense lines whereas light shades were made by leaving empty space.
This is a fun exploration of letters transforming to a shape.
In this, I took Giraffe as my subject and transformed it from letter G.

I started with a grid of dots placed at 1 cm each.
I joined them and and created head of a Giraffe (at least tried to do so :P)
 
In this work I attempted to create a tesselation from face of giraffe. In tesselation, we create a recurring visual pattern that has no gaps.
A tessellation of a flat surface is the tiling of a plane using one or more geometric shapes, called tiles, with no overlaps and no gaps.
