Victoria's Secret Pink Campaign & Description

When faced with coming up with a campaign for Victoria's Secret Pink line, as a group we decided that the best way to research how customers felt about the brand was to conduct an online survey to get the most honest responses. We learned that our most frequent buyer was mainly pre-teens and young teenagers even though the brand mostly targets to college-aged students. We found that a problem a lot of people had with the brand was that they feel the brand is damaging to girl's self-esteem and makes them have unrealistic ideals for their body due to Pink's sizing. The brand's sizes run small to begin while not every product is even available bigger than a size large. We decided to focus on this problem with our campaign since it was such a large one. The idea we came up with for the campaign is centered around the idea "love your body." We wanted our Pink ads to encourage users to buy Pink clothes and products because they positively associate it with feeling good about themselves no matter their size. We developed several print ads that feature pink products and encourage users to enjoy themselves and their positive attributes so that customers will feel good about Pink products. These ads work with the hastag #loveyourpink that can be used across social media platforms to generate buzz and positive conversation about the brand. We developed a blog concept that focuses on style, beauty and health tips from the Pink brand to encourage healthy lifestyles for young girls. We also developed an Instagram contest for users to submit pictures to win a chance to be in a 30-second Victoria Secret Pink TV spot which we also concepted and storyboarded. Overall, we got very positive feedback about this campaign since it takes a problem seen so often in the material world and makes an effort to get customers to feel better about themselves.
