Came up wth this illustration idea when I was asked ot participate in the Artcrank Poster show that came through DC. I printed a 2-color screen print on 19"x25" french paper for the show, then I thought it's be cool to do a little patch version of the idea so I whipped some of those up in one color on black canvas.
