Normal streetphone series are usually designed with straight-down cable, so they’re not suitable for sport activities. And with the headphone series designed for sport, they usually has plastic ear-hooks, which may cause uncomfortable feeling for users. Therefore, in Jelly Ear, comfort is our top concern, like easy to wear, not causes pain after using in long duration, and most of all, the feel.

Cables are made by soft nilon, knit by our craftmen’s hands, together create the durability and softness for Jelly ear. You can still enjoy your favorite songs for hours without feeling irritating.

Catching up the trend of using smartphone case, we design the input jack as compact as possible, so your “Jelly” can match the shape of your phone case. Even the input jack is lightly abraded to deliver good handling, which makes unplugging easier for you.

We use Balance Amateur Driver for our beloved child. BA Driver not only gives detail, balance sound quality but also has high durability. And we have re—modified it to reach the best bass sound possible. Although it has not much bass in quantity, Jelly Ear still can make you surprised by the accurate and tight bass, performs well with idiophones.
Even more, Jelly Ear can recreate a wide range of sound stage and push singer’s voice out of the background, so that his/her voice will become sweeter and more emotional.

From complex processing to simple looking
Each Jelly Ear costs 48 hours of processing and has to get through 21 phrases of finishing. The most complex work gives the finest result.
Because Jelly Ear has 2 solid homogeneous layers, the processes have to be carried carefully by our artists. From molding, device checking, finishing to every single detail like cable knitting, clew knitting and surface abrading, all are proceeded by hands.
Jelly Ear is abraded 3 times in total, each time includes 4 phrases, from rustic to smooth abrading, just to bring you the most satisfied and comfortable feeling like you’ve never had before.

Hand processing requires skills, including accuracy and artfulness as the most important factors. With our skillful artists, each Jelly Ear is proceeded in a perfect way, to bring you an experience you’ve never had. We are human, and we love creations made by our own hands.
How is Jelly Ear designed?
The Jelly Ear project carried by Joinhandmade team started in early 2010, till today it has been 4 years. We began to solve every problem in each earphone to create a “Jelly” that everyone will love and proud to own it, which caused lots of good prototype were rejected, because it is really hard to reach the balance of beauty and price. And the question isn’t what we should do with this design, it’s the question of “why should we create such a wonderful earphone like this?”
So that each sketch of Jelly Ear was concerned carefully, and was omitted all the unnecessary details, just to answer that question. And finally, Jelly Ear is an earbud completely crafted by hands, made by the finest material, to give you the best sound quality.
