Book cover for Illustration 3 project. The brief was to choose and celebrate an aspect of NZ's input in WW1. I chose the NZMC. The fly and dead fern symbolise the disease spread by flies. The plants are native NZ medicinal plants traditionally used in Rongoā (Maori medicine).
