Edna has been a graphic designer for more than a decade, but has only recently embraced mixed media. Her latest series, RENEWAL, began as imagery portraying particular bible verses. As this project enfolded, however, she realized this was also a reflection of her personal growth. The paintings are poetic representation of her journey through God's healing and she hopes they will also be a blessing and encouragement to others.

HOPE
The previous version of this painting showed a girl walking into the woods set against a monochromatic white winter landscape. The gloominess bothered me so it needed to be changed. It now shows the girl walking out of a dark valley towards a brighter future. She is living in hope even though midst of storm is still around her, because she believes that "He (God) has made everything beautiful in its time.” ~ Ecclesiastes 3:11a
