Introduction:
Piazza Muratori (Exterior Space).
The project expected the realization of a mounting to put in Piazza Muratori.
This mounting has as main objective to create and build an identity at the Piazza following the hangout concept.
The designer’s objective is to get a global project which connects the Stazione dello Statuto with the Piazza, but at the same time getting with the piazza an our meaning and concept, link at fire and light.
Everithing is represented in the Piazza, exalting the trees, (already there) through to put the benches on the trees and with different colours and types of light which recall the people meet together around at the “Piazza’s face” (a sculpure that creates an identity at the Piazza).

Concept: Light & Fire
The designer’s concept borns for the Stazione dello Statuto.
Initially the designer makes of the ideas following the meaning of symbolic, moviment, hangout, answer to no place etc, but then, all these concepts become an only idea.
This concept became unique and it moves on new ideas which contain all meanings were listed previesly.
The global project has been the possiblity to be representative it, thanks to its symbolic. They are: the LIGHT and the FIRE.
The light is the link between the Statuto’s inside and the Piazza, as well as symbolically speaking, it is the light source, also it is a point of hangout, a source of attraction.
“Soon in the night the men see a light source, immediatly they search to move toward it, finding and gathering them around at this source.” From here the meaning and the concept of fire for the Piazza take over to create an visible and real identity at fire.

In this line the designer has gotten the inspiration that was waiting for the Piazza. Indeed reconnecting this sentence at the global concept we understand because the meaning and fire concept for the Piazza, to create a face, a real identity where the people can hangout it have been used by designer.
This inspiration has been fundamental for the designer, indeed all the consequences have been only ideas which have led him at the final concept with, at the end the Piazza’s project realization.

The shipping centre project has been an important references as regards the white minimal design used to exalt through the colours contrast the main screen.
Also the light game has been been an important references for the designer because with that, he understood the potentiality which can be realized with the light and how much it can determine a space.
Methodology:
In this project the designer’s methodological method expected to use of materials, forms and colours really connected at the meanings that express themselves.
In this case the designer’s method starts with a specific research historical-conceptual through books, newspapers and web on Statuto’s history, followed by constructive and critics analysis to create the first general concept.
Subsequently the general concept is disjointed in a lots and small ideas that are studied, developed and courses on paper through the drawing.
The most important phase consists to gather all the ideas have been studied, developed and worked in an only concept which in turn will be studied, developed and worked to get a global project.
The last method’s phases of the designer are the transformation of the drawing made at free hand in technical drawing for making them univeral and write the conclusion to know if the designer reached his objectives and finality.
