I began this project with an investigation of the history of vessels for wine. Contemporary times call for distinct shapes of glasses to properly enjoy specific wines. My research culminated in a design for a decanter and a set of glasses which were formed through the process of blown glass. This specific iteration is tailored for the consumption of red wines such as Merlots and Cabernets.
