Better Than New is a Service Design Project I developed along with two colleagues from PARSONS while I was studying Strategic Design Management there on Summer'14.
The challenge was to develop a new Service, focused on the Manhattan area. We had only four days to start from scratch and finish, so it would be better not trying to save the world and really focus on local issues.

We decides to focus do HOUSING issues. Most of the Summer Students stayed on the Housing of the university. And all of them had the same problems.
1. People come from all over the world to spend Summer in NYC.
2. They won't have any household items available. So, most of the time, they bring them!
3. When they come, they see that Cleaning and Cooking items are also missing.
4. So, after some weeks, without cleaning, students start living in a small chaos.

It was used before. But you Never concern about it. It is so clean!
You don't have to buy something slightly used, if you can borrow or rent!

The cost was based on wholesale market prices at the time.

Besides the basic items, dwellers can also rent special items for a short period of time.
