Design Concept:
The paint of murals is peeling off with deep and long cracks over time.
The frescoes in the church have recorded a lot of myths and religious stories. When the images of murals are faded gradually by time, will the messages from God be forgotten together with the fading murals?
Gothic architecture, religions, nuns, or even Bible are the elements that inspired my creativity.
The colour white represents the purity and solemnity of the religion while orange, navy blue and brown are used to embellish the sacred religion.
The love of God seems like wearing a warm sweater in the winter. The pearls nailed on wool are similar to the strong texture on the church architecture. The yarn treads into the knitted fabric dispersedly, as though the paint of murals is shedding. Due to corrosion, the murals are split into the geometric figure, such as rectangle and triangle.
