Collab Studio: Heroine Accessories

For our second project done in collaboration studio here at CCAD my group had to design a product to promote 'power' in a certain era. The guidelines said that the product didn't have to be sellable, but advertised as though it could be purchased.
While other groups focused more on era clothing, my group took a different approach to the meaning of 'power' as in the power that drug addiction has in this modern day and age. We decided to design a line of products that a middle class person would be able to purchase in order to take their drugs wherever needed.

The message of our design was to show how apparent drug addiction is and how normal everyday people play a part in the statistics of Heroin abuse, and how Heroin has become a lifestyle that sometimes goes under the radar of their outer appearance.

Our product name is 'Heroine' as in the term of the female hero.
All accessories were designs to appear as regular jewelery and accessories that somebody would purchase, There is a spoon necklace, a ring with a compartment, a lipstick syringe, and an arm band.
All of the products were made with super sculpey clay, sprayed in chrome silver paint. The cap to the lipstick is simply paper, and the arm band is made up of fabric with grommets and string.
