Falling Venus
I think that the worst reaction from anyone to my art work would be - - indifference.

.Focus of recent work:I’m interested in creating images of people and objects inodd situations.
I try and use my artwork to communicate a feeling to theviewer. Sometimes my artwork is used as a social commentary, other times justto make a gut feeling statement.
Currently I’m working on paintings that try and explain thecreation process and how that makes me feel emotionally My current painting is very very loosely based on Bottichelli'sBirth of Venus painting. Bottichelli adds quite a bit of Roman Mythology to hisrepresentation but for me I see it as a birth of an idea, of creating and ofmaking art.
I remember a conversation I had with an artist where we both triedto explain how it felt to get up every morning and having to create somethingfrom nothing. My best explanation at the time was " Every day I get up andjump off a 50 story building and see where it goes from there".
I am using my current painting to show how I feel every time Icreate a work of art. Totally naked, vulnerable, scared, and then to top it offI have to deal with all the comments from every viewer of my creation.
