Increase sanitation in a shared bathroom.

This toothpaste cap's form secures a toothbrush, the same way many people already store it -- by resting it along the top of the toothpaste tube. Whether the toothpaste tube is full or empty, Bachelor will keep a toothbrush from rolling onto a dirty vanity or hotel room sink.  

 

Process / Research:

 

When I finished I was excited to find that my design in fact looks very much like a tooth! I generated dozens of sketches before moving forward with the 3D modeling process. I printed four 3D prototypes to see how they compared in function. Surprisingly It was easy to pick the most successful design. Unsurprisingly, I found selecting a plastic (I could 3D print in) that met my aesthetics and precision the hardest part.
