When you think of Berlin, you may think of monuments, deeply rooted in history – the remains of the Wall, the Brandenburg Gate, the Holocaust Memorial. You may think of shopping malls, underground night clubs and museums. But the German capital has another face as well: industrial ruins, decaying walls full of graffiti and abandoned homes. And since Berlin’s charm comes from its stark contrasts, this fascinating side of the city just cries out to be documented.
