Tapas Bar and Apartment

Brief:
Part A - Flexible restaurant located within a 3 storey listed building on Griffith College campus. The restaurant will open for lunch and dinner service and will be open to both college students and the general public. Restaurant must also have the facility to accommodate private dining.

Part B - Accommodation for student president within same listed building. The apartment must have a private entrance separate from the restaurant with space to hold student meetings as well as a more private area for study.

Concept:
The concept for the restaurant is a tapas bar which serves tapas style food at lunch and dinner service. The restaurant occupies the first and second floor of the building. The first floor is a flexible space with folding tables and is open all day. The second floor is reserved for private dining and for busier periods. It can also be rented for college functions.

The apartment occupies half of the ground floor with an outdoor terrace. The space is largely open plan and is divided by a central bathroom block separating the bedroom and study area from the living/dining area.
