I had the opportunity recently to collaborate again with the exceptional Jazz trumpet musician and multi-talented composer, John Taylor.
By now, I've gotten to know John fairly well, and have a better understanding of his personality that is so interwoven into his work so creating concepts were amazingly smooth and enjoyable. The album had a light uptempo mood while remaining a bit nostalgic. Overall we chose to have a focus the theme of love and unity.
Once completed, it didn't stray too far from the chosen sketch, however I also created a light background alternative, in which we ended up liking more because of the album's overall upbeat direction.
The pink background also removed any sense of time, so the two hands could coexist in an unlimited world.
