Chose poem The Swan By Rainer Maria Rilke. To inhance the environmental experience I added The X-Files remix by NeoGeo to be played from behind the installation.
Environmental graphic design installation advertising upcoming poetry series using part of a poem. All relevant information including date, location and time had to be incorporated. Mockup had to include what materials would be used and how it would be installed.
This is photo realistic composit of the final project. As weather and day change, so does the color of the lettering as it's cut out.
This is the final composit of just the installation piece only. Matrials chosen are a combination of 1/4 inch slabs of concrete, cooper and marble, treated with acid. Lettering would be cut out with a OMAX 60120 Waterjet machine. Installation would be attached to window's transom via three Triple-Pivot Clamp-Mount/Wall-Mount Swivel Arms, Black.
