UserTesting is a service that provides fast, high quality user testing for products in the mobile and web space. Their customers include Apple, Google, Twitter, Facebook, Wikipedia, Yahoo and many others. The SDK records user feedback by capturing a video of their interactions and allows them to input feedback manually in the form of a rating/poll/text/etc. 

As the lead UX/UI designer, I worked with engineers to solve how users would interact with the test inside an application. The test wasn't allowed to interfere with any interactions with the user and the application itself, so we developed a non-native three-finger gesture that allows the user to leave and enter the test. The user also needs to know if/when the test is going on without this "notice" interfering with the testing of the app. As a result, we designed a red light to pulsate at the top of the status bar that turns off when the test is complete. I also worked on the design of the test, creating a layout for questions and options that wouldn't lean the user towards one answer or another.
