Ecommerce Experience for D&S Machined Products

I was hired on a freelance basis by D&S Machined Products to design, develop and launch an ecommerce experience for their rapidly growing business. As an industrial automation buyer and seller, the business had experienced substantial success within eBay’s marketplace and saw a growth opportunity to build an online presence of their own. I worked in close collaboration with the Business Owner to learn about the industrial automation industry and it’s consumers, study the competition, and assess opportunities to set D&S Machined Products apart within the market. I used this data to conceptualize several potential themes, ultimately gaining alignment from the team on targeting an efficient and functional experience that was approachable and unintimidating to it’s users.
