The ring watch was made out of gold-plated brass, a dial by slate and gold dust.

The feeling of luxury is not permanent. Instead, it happens between desire and ownership. If you push it once, it begins to fade. How can someone generate a product that consciously carries transience within itself – or that might even destroy itself? If a product is valuable but short-lived though, and this is made apparent, then this will produce a special feeling of luxury. The ringwatch consists of a heavy gold cylinder that resembles a gold ingot. The golden minute pointer scrapes from the bottom on the glass cover, remaining permanent so small amounts of gold dust are removed and stay attached to the glass. After a certain time, the glass is completely discolored and makes it impossible to look at the clock. What remains is an extraordinary piece of jewelry. In the background, invisibly, the clock continues to run.
