Each box is supposed to be a "city fragment" representing a function of the city,

The city is split into various city-fragments. Every fragment is a furnished box with a coloured ‘window’. The sun will turn every fragment into a festive space all day and when the night comes, the lights in the installation will invert the effect and make the surrounding space a multi-coloured party area.
