This map is based on the FAO Hunger Map 2013, which shows the progress towards the first Millennium Development Goal (MDG) of halving the proportion of hungry people by 2015. ECOWAS (Economic Community Of West African States ) asked for a personalized map, in order to focus the attention on their countries.
