Making Generalities

For a class, the project was called "Making Generalities", in which we had to come up with an concept that when layered on top of each other, it would teach you something you didn't already know.

The first concept I had was to layer individual handwriting on top of each other, to show how different every single person writes, looking at the width, langth, height, specific letters, etc.

I then thought more broad and decided I would photograph how people write. I now can look at what hand they write with, the angle of the pen, how their fingers lay on the pen, how their other hand is placed on the table, even their posture when writing.

I had a lot of fun with the project and thought it was an interesting final photograph.
