Our class project was Topological Transformation. My project focused on my NIKE brand shoe. For the first part of the class project we were instructed to use cardboard to make two 3-D models of our objects. One of the models had to be assembled by cutting out vertical pieces of cardboard and gluing them together. The other shoe was assembled by using horizontal pieces. The next part of the project, our third model was formed by using a couple pieces of cardboard to form a skeleton like form of the object. The final model of the object was to be formed by using wire to form the outside shape of the object. Finally, our class had to display five drawings of our object showing a plan, two elevation and two section views of our object.
