Skatalaug is a hot spring found in the Reykjanes Peninsula, known for its incredible geothermal activities. It’s easy to miss if you don't know where to look and what you need to look for. One of the Icelandic Scouts Rescue Teams dug for a natural pool near a warm geyser in the 7 decade and the pool is still there. The water originates from a hot spring source not far away. The temperature is around 34 °C. The water flow ends in a small hot spring which is about 2.5 m in diameter from there it runs to a bigger hot spring, 10x5x0,9 m. Somewhere around 35 to 45 people can bathe at the same time but there is no changing clothes facilities but you can leave your clothes on the grass. The hot spring is located at the south end of Kleifarvatn or around 100-200 m south of Bleikhóll and there is a walking trail to the hot spring
