Google Sites Template and Functional model 2024
As a designer of websites and intranets specialized in SharePoint and Google Workpace environments, I find it much easier when everything is defined before creating the website or intranet.
In the past few years, I've had many requests to help build company websites and intranet using Google Sites, but I never had a template for Google Sites and I never managed to find one on the Figma community.
Therefore, this project was about creating a full template of assets that we typically found in the Google Sites options when building a website. Also, this project was about testing the results of my template by creating a functional model of a fictional site.
Once the assets created... time to verify how they look in the "Assets" tab in Figma
And now... time to try those assets in a fictional functional model
Beginning by mapping the project using Google Draw and establish the user journey.
Once the user journey established, the real testing part of the assets began by the making of the pages and the verification in full screen of the results.
The pages completed, the prototyping part began and the full testing.
