Magazine Cover
This project required me to make a cover page for a designer magazine called A Design Indaba Magazine and express the colour red along with it.
Rationale
My inspiration comes from the 90s JDM era and how graffiti was used to make the cars more appealing. With references from posters I constructed my cover page to show how the colour red enhances the look of the car as well as using graffiti to match the aesthetic from that kind if designs in my own way. My goal was to bring the old into the new as that is the current trends. By achieving this, I constructed a masthead made up of strokes to create a minimal yet 3D look. By combining the old 90s poster look with a modernized masthead, I brought the old into new.
