This is a series of illustrations of a more modern version of the story of the little red ridding hood. My general concept was the idea of loss of innocence that's why in the beginning Little Red is in a more simple and cartoony style because she is happy and innocent and in the end, as a result of the trauma she goes through, she becomes more realistic.
The character of the wolf was humanised because it turned the story more realistic. Moreover, the identity of the adults in the illustrations is unclear, the face and gender of the wolf is unclear as well. In universe we can explain this as the mind of Little Red blocking out her trauma. The real reason for this is because predators can be of any gender and can be someone you know or a complete stranger.
