Shadowcasts
Two silent 16mm films as part of the same project, black and white, 2min30 each, simultaneous screenings with an 16mm Eiki projector. For these two films i was inspired by the« Shadowcasts» underground film screenings such as The Rocky Horror picture show (1975) by Jim Sharman. During the screening, the spectators imitated the gestures and outfits of the actors in front of the screen. In the two films that I made, I did an interpretation of the gestures of Dr Caligari in the movie The cabinet of dr Caligari , by Robert Wiene, 1920.
