New series of paintings (no official title yet)

The nature of my work consists of interpreting sensations. In recent months, with an excess of projects and work – at one time or another – this was bound to happen. What am I talking about? Exhaustion. Mental exhaustion.

Just like in 2020 during a pandemic, with anxieties and fears I created the “Psychosomatic” series, a series of 16 paintings where I visualized psychosomatic pains that plagued everyone during the period of uncertainty and daily ghosts, here, I brought something more internal; The psychological fatigue that has caught up with me in the last few days.

And since art - for me - was the most effective of therapies, I couldn't help but place a paper between the paint, this strange and shadowy figure that disturbed me in those days

Nova série de pinturas (ainda sem título oficial)

A natureza do meu trabalho consiste em interpretar sensações. Nos últimos meses, com excesso de projetos e trabalhos – uma hora ou outra – isso estava fadado a acontecer. Do que estou falando? Exaustão. Esgotamento mental.

Assim como em 2020 durante uma pandemia, com ansiedades e medos criei a série “Psicossomática”, uma série de 16 pinturas onde visualizei dores psicossomáticas que assolavam a todos durante o período de incertezas e fantasmas diários, aqui, trouxe algo mais interno; O cansaço psicológico que me apanhou nos últimos dias.

E como a arte - para mim - era a mais eficaz das terapias, não pude deixar de colocar um papel entre a tinta, essa figura estranha e sombria que me perturbava naqueles tempos
