TRANSMITTER MODULAR
CHALLENGE 2020
AUTEC is looking for a new concept of transmitting unit characterised by a modular system, that enables the company to customise the remote controls based on their clients’ needs, with a view to offering a custom-solution for the control and handling of small size self-propelled machines, lifting machines or similar, to be used either in industrial environments or in environments for civil use.

During the design of the components, which involved various prototyping and shape control phases, we worked on the industrial reproducibility of the final product by minimizing the number of components required for assembly and making everything practical for injection molding. The design of the various modules, conceived in anticipation of the assembly, allows to manage the different configurations of the transmitting unit progressively during the connection of the pieces without losing consistency. This is possible thanks to the module closing component which aesthetically defines the term of all the modular variants, thus offering a clean appearance and a specular hook.
