The series of analogue photographs was captured during a journey from the Main Railway Station to Jelačić Square. The concept of raw and unedited photos explores the diversity of people, their journey, and the communication between them, presenting an interpretative dialogue/monologue within the book. The choice of analogue photography deprives us of an immediate insight into the captured moment, but the desire to explore the depth of diversity has prompted an approach that avoids viewing through the camera viewfinder. Guided by this, compositions have emerged that would not have been achieved through the standard method of photography. Additionally, the choice of a portrait format intentionally opposes the prevalent approach of portrait photography with a mobile phone. This contrast creates a deeper experience of the visual story and encourages reflection on the consciousness of format in the contemporary context of photography.
