Two Good Design Sustainability Award-winning fixtures I worked on with the design team at Alight Architectural Lighting.
STITCH - Winner of Good Design Sustainability Award 2023
With a thin aluminum extrusion acting as the light engine for this fixture, Stitch expands roughly six times
in volume after the polypropylene shade is unrolled from its packaging, providing a broad surface to
evenly distribute light both downwards towards a task as well as outwards to illuminate the faces of those
working together.

WINGS - Winner of Good Design Sustainability Award 2023
The Wings fixture provides both direct and indirect light from the same source - a single upturned LED
board shines light upward through the holes of the high-density polyethylene sheet at its top surface, and
the same sheet reflects light back downwards and through a sheet of polypropylene to be diffused evenly.
This fixture can be flattened to minimize volume during storage and transportation.
