"Love Yourself"

For my first piece of art I chose to focus this piece on something that all humans need which is self love. The background is pink and in the center of the image is a human that has a heart for a brain and it is surrounded by hundreds of little hearts. Above the head is a quote from Lucille Ball. To create this piece of art I found the image of the human on google, copied, and pasted it onto the document. I then used the eye dropper tool to make the background the same color as the head. After this I found the quote on google and again copied and pasted it onto the the document. Since there was a lot of pink being used I decided to make the quote red. I then used the create warped text tool, specifically arc to create a curve. Since the background was still boring and bland I decided to add hearts as a symbol of love to create dimension. I found the hearts on google so I copied, pasted, and adjusted them onto the document. 

"Video Game Tournament"

For the second poster I decided to make a poster for a video game tournament. To create this I decided to t=change the color of the background. This was achieved by using the paint bucket tool and selecting the color black. I then found two fonts that I liked and I used the horizontal text tool to type the needed information and changed the color for that as well. I then found the slime in the corners, video game remote, and characters on google. To add them onto the document I copied and pasted them. I then used the magic eraser tool to remove their backgrounds. I then adjusted them by either making them larger or smaller and putting them into their designated spots. 

"Float Like a Butterfly" 

For the third image I wanted to be creative and pay homage to the organization I am apart of . This piece is of two images of me placed inside of a butterfly with a quote that is often used within the organization. Originally, I  wanted to use an elephant but then I found out that butterflies symbolize transformation or new beginnings. First I had to click on the custom shape tool and find the picture of the butterfly. After this I changed the stroke and fill into the color red. I then copied and pasted my image, selected the layer panel, and then clicked create clipping mask. This fit the images into the shape of the butterfly and I adjusted them into my liking. I then used the Horizontal type tool, changed the font to French script and typed the quote. Lastly I used the paint bucket tool and selected a tan color to change the background.
