This is a Packaging project I did in college.
We had to design a logo and packaging for 4 Organic Duck Eggs.
The brief:
This project will attempt to address the functions of contemporary packaging design.
1. To protect a product from damage or contamination.
2. To contain the product.
3. To identify the product.
4. Protection during Transport and Ease of Transport.
5. Shelf stacking and Storage.
6. Product Information.
The Logo simply was 'XGGS', a twist on how someone might try to pronounce 'Eggs'.
It is a quirky was of getting peoples attention.
Watching people try to pronounce it gave it a certain appeal and a USP in my opinion.
However the main reason I chose 'XGGS' as the name came down to using the 'X' as a tool itself.
2XGGS, 4XGGS, 6XGGS, 12XGGS, etc. Using X as a multiplication sign.
