I took on the challenge of sprucing up the Yale University website, and boy, did I find some quirks! First off, I discovered inconsistencies like they were waving hello at every click, with a bunch duplicate buttons and words hogging the spotlight. So, I decided to simplify things—less is more!
Then there was this one page that seemed to have a mind of its own. Clicking around felt like wandering into a maze with no way out! My fix? I made sure every page had a comfy home base with a snazzy header and a trusty "home" button. No more getting lost in cyberspace!
And let's talk style. I ditched the sharp edges and went for a softer look with rounded corners. It's like giving the website a big warm hug! Plus, I sprinkled in plenty of white space to give your eyes a breather. Navigating through college stuff can be stressful, so why not make it a little zen, right?
