O projeto nasceu de uma missão muito importante. Ilustrar o convite de 15 anos da minha prima. Que a festa de 15 anos tem sua magia na vida de uma menina todos sabem, mas meu desafio era agradar não apenas a aniversariante mas também encantar os convidados e traze-los para o universo da festa, Alice no País das Maravilhas.
The project was born from a very important mission. Illustrate my cousin's 15th birthday invitation. Everyone knows that the 15th birthday party has its magic in a girl's life, but my challenge was to please not only the birthday girl but also enchant the guests and bring them into the universe of the party, Alice in Wonderland.
A primeira versão foi aprovada, mas no decorrer do projeto algumas mudanças precisaram ser feitas com relação ao tamanho da caixa e a forma como a arte seria impressa. Dessa forma uma nova versão foi elaborada para ser aplicada no interior da caixa do convite, onde seriam colocados alguns objetos relacionados ao tema.
The first version was approved, but during the project some changes needed to be made regarding the size of the box and the way the art would be printed. In this way, a new version was designed to be applied inside the invitation box, where some objects related to the theme would be placed.

Por limitações no processo e custo de impressão, a melhor solução foi trabalhar com o preto criando silhuetas junto a tipografia aplicada, além do tom de bege contrastando e destacando a aniversariante como objeto principal da ilustração. O papel de impressão já seria no tom azul e por fim não foi possível aplicar pontos de luz em branco, mas o importante é que foi possível desenvolver uma versão final que se adequasse a toda demanda necessária e agradasse a todos.
Due to limitations in the printing process and cost, the best solution was to work with black, creating silhouettes along with the applied typography, in addition to the contrasting tone of beige and highlighting the birthday girl as the main object of the illustration. The printing paper would already be in a blue tone and in the end it was not possible to apply white higthlights, but the important thing is that it was possible to develop a final version that suited all the necessary demands and pleased everyone.
Outra peça muito importante foi o convite individual que deve ser usado por cada convidado para entrar na festa. A ideia foi usar do formato retangular que esse item normalmente tem para substituir por uma carta de baralho que fizesse referência a Rainha Vermelha, muito importante nesse universo.
Another very important piece was the individual invitation that must be used by each guest to enter the party. The idea was to use the rectangular shape that this item normally has to replace it with a playing card that made reference to The Queen of Hearts, very important in this universe.
