Client Brief
Chicago will host Wander, an annual travel expo that unites top names in the industry to showcase emerging travel trends, products, and services. The event targets travelers looking for richer, more meaningful experiences and who seek out new places, cultures, opportunities, and personal growth. The visual identity needed to embody immersiveness, self-discovery, and curiosity.

Concept
Wander’s visual identity is inspired by travel as a multi-layered, nonlinear, and handcrafted experience. Radiating and flowing patterns of richly textured woodgrain represent growth and expanding one’s horizons through travel. Curiosity, action, and discovery create a chain reaction of new perspectives, choices, and connections like ripples on a pond. The round lockup of the wordmark and motto is suited to Wander-branded travel gear.
