Rove: Brand Design

The goal for this brand design was to create a perfume brand logo, individual packaging, group packaging, and website. Rove, the created perfume brand, strives to be a simple, elegant brand that can inspire confidence and be a necessary addition to one's busy life. The brand reflects a tranquil and captivating aesthetic that acts as an escape for younger women in business. Attracting this demographic is important as it is a big part of the design style. The aim of Rove’s branding is to create an experience that eases the stress of a hectic on-the-go lifestyle. Inspiration was taken from the relaxation of travel destinations like a relaxing seaside cove, an intimate cabin in the woods, and a beautiful desert oasis. These three scents allow for a spritz of peace throughout the individual’s day. Using smaller packaging helps to keep the product portable for the consumer and appeals to the busy target audience. A classy black and white theme will spread across the branding and into the assets. The branding will consist of a stylized font logo, keeping with the elegant simplistic theme, a website homepage as well as product pages that display the three different travel inspired scents being sold, individual packaging for each scent, and additional packaging for a three in one deal that includes a travel bag that the three perfume vials will come with.
The three scents created for Rove's Destination: Paradise collection are Elysia, Tawny, and Vestige. Elysia, a perfume inspired by a seaside cove, contains scents of plumeria, coconut, and calone; Tawny, a perfume inspired by a cabin in the woods, contains scents of vetiver and amber; and Vestige, a perfume inspired by a desert oasis, contains scents of cactus flower and sagebrush.
